Pumpkins don’t get picked, they get adopted.
It is an amazing sight. Ten acres of farmland covered with orange. Typically over 100,000 pumpkins of every shape, color and size await. Children’s eyes go wide with wonder and excitement as they first glimpse the pumpkin patch.
Choosing a pumpkin. No matter how ugly, bumpy, green, blue, pink or lopsided, every pumpkin finds a home. Watching thousands of people choose pumpkins has been a fascinating study in human behavior. Each person goes about it differently. Some get off the wagon, see a pumpkin and that’s the one. Some search the patch for the biggest. Some search for the tallest. Some search for perfect shape. Some search for complimentary colors.
And not a single pumpkin picker is wrong. Pumpkins are like art; they are like us. Each is individual and is just perfect for the right person. Pumpkins get adopted, not picked.
Big tractors, big wagons, big fun.
We believe that people come to the farm to see things they don’t see everyday, so we don’t hook up the medium tractors. We hook up the BIG tractors. We the John Deere 8100 starts up, you can feel it rumble in your chest and kids go bonkers for it. The ride is included FREE with your visit, just pay for the pumpkins you pick.

Take a picture. It’ll last longer.
There is so much to see and do on a Fall festival weekend on the farm, you better bring your camera. Some families have their annual photos at the farm to proudly post their traditions of harvest celebration. You might snap a funny pic for a post or a memory to last a lifetime. Bring the family, grandparents too, and make a family tradition this fall on the farm.
